The Journeyman Lineman performs skilled linework in the operation, maintenance, and repair of underground and overhead electrical distribution, sub-transmission facilities, and transmission facilities according to established City safety practices and procedures.

Minimum Job Requirements

High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
Must have completed a recognized lineworker apprenticeship program.
Must have knowledge and experience with distribution systems.
Must possess and maintain a valid State of Michigan Driver's License with CDL Class B endorsement.
